They build empowering industry relationships and provide extensive access to deep go-to-market resources to innovative startups across technology domains, such as big data and analytics, business SaaS, cloud infrastructure, machine learning, productivity, security, and others.
Rashmi leads enterprise software investments for Microsoft Ventures in the Bay Area and brings a strong combination of venture capital and startup operating experience to the managing team. Prior to Microsoft Ventures, she served as the Investment Director at Intel Capital with a focus on cloud, infrastructure, and big data companies. Her expertise in global business development has contributed to the growth of startups such as Couchbase and BlueData and has served in product development positions at GE and Oracle. Rashmi has an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Mumbai in India.
